RINGO 3D
A real family board game — invented by Wendelin Leinweber and played for years around the table — lifted into a 5×5×5 cube, rebuilt as a 3D multiplayer game, and shipped to Google Play as a native Android app.
Five in a row through a cube. Or all four corners of a face.
The original RINGO is a 5×5 grid, two dice, and a pile of coloured rings. RINGO 3D stacks five of those boards into glass layers, adds a third die that picks the layer by colour, and lets you twist the whole thing like a Rubik's Cube.
Every turn is a small drama. Roll, land your ring, and watch the threats stack up in three dimensions. Wild faces let you place anywhere. Landing on an opponent lets you steal their space. And on any turn you can skip the dice entirely and twist a slice — which can finish your line, or hand the game to someone else. Nobody is ever safe.
Five in a row
Any straight line through the cube: across, down, front-to-back, diagonally through a layer, or corner to corner through the middle. 109 lines in all.
Four corners
Claim all four corners of any outer face of the cube. Finish more than one line at once for a DOUBLE or TRIPLE RINGO.

How to play
Learn it in one turn. The twist takes a lifetime.
1.Roll three dice
A letter (R-I-N-G-O), a number (1–5), and a layer colour. Every die has a ★ wild face that lets you choose that coordinate yourself — three wilds means anywhere in the cube.
2.Place — or steal
Drop a ring where the three meet. Land on an opponent's ring and you choose: take the spot, or roll again. Land on your own and you simply roll again. You never lose a turn.
3.Or twist the cube
Skip the roll and turn any layer, column or row a quarter turn, Rubik's-style. Every ring in that slice swings somewhere new — including into someone else's winning line.
The hard part of a 3D board game is seeing it.
A 5×5×5 cube has 125 spaces and most of them are behind something. The renderer is built around making the inside legible without ever losing the whole.

Look into any layer
Tap a colour and the other four layers fade back, so a rolled space is never hidden behind glass.
Fan the layers apart
One button explodes the cube into five floating slices — every ring visible at once, the whole cube still in view.
Twists you can see
Pick a slice and the preview spins it in place before you commit. The animation is derived from the rules engine, so picture and rules can never disagree.

Easy, normal and hard opponents that place, steal and twist — hard hunts double threats through the cube.

Packaged as a Trusted Web Activity and published on Google Play — full screen, no browser chrome, one codebase shared with the web.
Verified ownership
Digital Asset Links tie the store app to the domain, signed with Play App Signing. Content rated Everyone.
Public rooms, safely
Open to anyone, so it ships with abuse limits: per-address rate limits on rooms, name rules, and idle rooms reaped automatically.
Survives real phones
Locked screens and dropped wifi reclaim your seat automatically; a second tab never steals it.
Voice and score
An announcer calls the wins, over a seamlessly looping ambient score — both generated with ElevenLabs.
No ads, no accounts
No tracking library, no analytics SDK, no chat. The privacy policy is one page because there is nothing to disclose.
